Insouciance.

Don't you wish one could be carefree, with peace of mind and nothing to worry about?

Thats how its been for me during this month of June. I've been enjoying the term break so far, without having to be vexed by daily assignments or demanding project work, listening to the tunes of my mom's bossa nova music as I write this blog entry. Theres no need to mug for mid-year exams at the end of the holidays as mine is over. (: It feels great to be able to wake up late in the afternoon, as my lessons in school start at nine o'clock everyday except one at one. The only thing is that I haven't had a chance to eat breakfast these few days. I miss my cornflakes!(it only feels right to eat it in the morning, heh). But this holiday seems pretty long and relaxing as I thought it will come and go just like that. It must be because of the world cup! haha.

The tempo of most matches have been quite relaxed until the last fifteen minutes of the match, where players sense more urgency to perform better (tsk, tardiness!). Maybe because its still the group stages. Only last night's Brazil-Croatia match, (I feel), has been quite fast paced from start till end of the 90 minutes. Though the Brazil team is supposed to be the best in the world and pack quality, they only managed to scrape a 1-0 victory over Croatia, who played well to contain the Brazilians for certain parts of the match. It was worth it staying up pass 5am for that one!
Haha as you can see my life has been revolving around the world cup these few days, I'm getting world cup fever!!!

Too bad this easy-going lifestyle will only be temporary for these two weeks as school will start again on the 26th. School work will once again come back to haunt everyone and adjustments will have to be made to sleeping habits again. Arghhh...oh well.
